ECHO (Eye care health organisation) UK helps people irrespective of their creed, colour, religion and ethnicity by preventing and treating Cataract Blindness by providing free cataract surgery in the eye hospitals and holding eye camps in Afro-Asia.
1 in 10 people in Pakistan are blinded due to cataract mostly due to poverty. ECHO sponsored cataract procedures in 2017-2018 by holding an Eye Camp at Sahiwal Punjab Pakistan for 150 free cataract surgery and 50 in Al Ibrahim Eye_hospital Malir Karachi.
