Description
A cataract causes cloudiness or a reduction in the opacity of the clear and transparent lens of the eye. This clouding may obstruct light’s passage to the retina and blurs the vision. There are quite a number of differing types of cataract mostly formed or developed in adulthood and often grow increasingly severe as you get older. Cataracts can be there from birth or as a result from using certain medications, they can also develop from an injury or a disease.
Signs and Symptoms
Blurred vision, overall vision darker, frequent eyeglass prescription changes, vision glare and haloes
